Flavours and Strengths of E liquid
Flavours
E liquid comes in a variety of flavours which is excellent because there is so much variety to choose from but also difficult when it comes to actually choosing one to buy! You can get anything from apple, to champagne and believe me, I have tried a lot of them and it is scary how similar some of the flavours can taste to the real thing. Through my 2 years of vaping I still don’t have a favourite but my advice for a new time buyer is to pick a more subtle flavour that won’t get sickly after vaping it all day. Most tobacco flavours are perfect for this and at misteliquid we only stock flavours that we really feel are the best ones available. If you feel the desire to start making your own and experimenting this is also possible and I will be writing a blog post on how to do just that!
Strengths
(0mg none, 6-11mg low, 14-18mg medium, 18-26 high, 26+ extra high.)
There are plenty of strengths to choose from all the way from 0mg(no nicotine) to 52mg(extra extra high only for mixing). The strength of E liquid is measured in mg/ml so in each ml of e juice there is X amounts of nicotine. For example, in 18mg strength eliquid there is 18mg of nicotine in each ml and 24mg in each ml of 24mg strength eliquid etc. It may take a while to find the strength that suits you and the best way of figuring out how much nicotine you need to curb your cravings simply comes from trial and error. The most popular strengths of nicotine I have found are 18mg to 26mg. If you ever feel dizzy, nauseous or get a headache from E cigarettes it is most likely that what you are vaping is too strong and you should cut down your nicotine intake by choosing a lower strength E Juice.
Where does E liquid come from and what’s in it?
All of the E liquid found on misteliquid comes from a manufacturing company called Dekang. Currently they are the largest supplier of liquid nicotine supplying over 90% of the word with e liquid. Most suppliers sell e-juice from this company but rebrand there bottles. There e liquid has been SGS tested and meets Korean FDA standards and has also passed the German food and feed code and non-toxic tests.
The main ingredients in E-liquid are Propylene Glycol, Nicotine, and Flavourings. All of the ingredients in the fluid are USP (United States Pharmacopeia) grade. For more information on the ingredients in e liquid please email me at info@misteliquid.co.uk
If you want to know more about what you are inhaling there is a variety of test reports carried out independently by labs and manufacturers which you can look at here http://vapersnetwork.org/node/8
Price Breakdown of E liquid
Its number crunching time and you want to save a little bit of cash, let’s talk about how you could be saving hundreds of pounds just by using E LIQUID.
1) The cost of a 30ml bottle from www.misteliquid.co.uk is £12.50 with free shipping.
2) Let’s break that down into price per ml, then price per drop.
- 1ml = 42p.
- 1 drop = 2p (based on 20 drops per ml.)
3) From my personal experience 3 drops of e liquid is good for around 10-12 decent puffs of vapour, giving you 1320 decent puffs in a 30ml e liquid bottle.
4) If you consider there is around 15 puffs in a regular cigarette that makes your 30ml bottle of e liquid have the same puff value as 88 cigarettes.
5) Currently 20 cigarettes, on average, cost £6.13 and 88 of those dangerous sticks are going to cost you 27 quid!
6) 88 Cigarettes worth of E liquid costs just £12.50.
That is a huge saving of £14 or 42% every time you buy a 30ml bottle instead of cigarettes – if you are a 20+ a day smoker that is a considerable saving in the long run.
I hope this has helped a few of you out and keep your eye out for the next section where I will be teaching you all how to make your own E liquid!
