Planning on making an ECig Documentory

Thought i'd let you guys know before anyone else...Me and a close friend of mine are planning on making a small 15 minute e cig documentary. We think ECigs have had very little RESEARCHED and thorough coverage and we want to tell the world what e cigarettes are REALLY about. We have got a presenter lined up and we are currently writing the script.
The presenter we have found and hopefully will be using is a doctor, which is great for us as hopefully they will understand and get a feel for the product like a duck to water!

We plan on getting some decent interviews with pub landlords, doctors, the NHS, manufacturers , some local politician, e smokers themselves and various others to see what they have to think about the device. It is going to be cold hard fact based and it will be made as unbiased and thorough as possible. It is still in working progress and we would very much appreciate any input or advice you are willing to give us about what YOU would like to see in the documentary.

Not sure that I can add much being so new to it, only that I have tried so many traditional ways of stopping smoking, from patches and gum to cutting down gradually etc. and I am absolutely stunned that I have gone from 40+ a day to zero in under a week.

Im loving vaping - I was asked this morning if I could only have ciggies or the P.V. and I HAD to give one up which would it be?   No contest - nobody is taking my P.V. away from me

Thanks, i think so too. I agree, e cigs for me and many others, offer the only solution to quitting analogues. All the other stuff really doesn't cut it. The thing is, big tobacco know this and they don;t want to be losing ANY money from it. Partly why i am making this doc.

I also just want to spread the word, none of this ECIGS ARE HEALTHY bullshit that so many people are spreading, but honest and hard facts about how they work and what they are! Thanks for the support

The Smoking alternative (Tobacco Harm Reduction) angle is the safest way to go I think

definitely, i wouldn't go any other route. I am going to be VERY careful about what gets said in this documentary and don't want ANYONE to get the wrong idea about what these things are, and what they are used for...certainly not an NRT device

The script is coming a long nicely, mind need a few keen and experienced vapers to do a bit of proof reading on the facts and statistics sides...anyone?

My vote goes to guy number one granted he looks a little like a "bad boy" but you could always fix that by putting glasses on him or something. Guy two has a more of an average Joe kinda vibe but the way he forces out certain words kinda bugs me and are distracting but then again you could always direct him so he doesn't do that.

What I would like to see in a documentary is to debunk the gimmick factor of e-cigs and present it as an viable means to administrate nicotine, the gimmick thing is maybe just me, but all I talked to just thinks it's a lame poser toy but that is probably because here in Sweden it virtually unheard of at least the e-cig that actually has nicotine that is.

Number one for me..he seems like someone who might have smoked and that would just add to the authenticity of the documentary.

We were swayed to option number one, he was pretty good in auditions but number two was a really nice guy. They were both so interested in the project which is always a plus.

Vax, i think getting the right look is important, we were also think of suit/classes! I know exactly what you mean about the gimmick factor...is that a 'fake cigarette' remarks always get on my nerves. There will certainly be a lot of debunking and myth breaking...

Hope you didn't forget to record the ambient sound, I forgot doing that one time and cutting became a hassle to say the least.

I am actually having trouble with what music i should be playing over the top! What music would everyone suggest? Perhaps just some ambient background music
