I enjoyed several days of use from the iStick Power 2 at maximum power output, which isn’t surprising when you consider that the maximum wattage level is 80W. While still very comfortably in sub-ohm territory, it’s a slight shame that they didn’t think to provide greater outputs to take full advantage of that gigantic battery.

A simple mouth-to-lung mod with a sizable 2600mAh battery within, you can enjoy MTL and even some moderate RDL use by exploring the 5W – 40W output range.

With all the mods featured today, I expected the iStick i40 to be fairly dull in comparison to some, yet I was surprised by how comfortable and responsive the device was. I was able to manually set the power with Wattage mode and also had the option to set power in voltage if I preferred, with no technical jargon or superfluous functions to distract me from simple puff pleasure.

The now-expected Eleaf grip panel makes a welcome return, with several bright and vibrant colours to choose from. Frankly, it’s a nice departure from the usually austere ‘black/grey/gunmetal’ colour choices usually offered by vaping mods.
