Established in 2019, Nevoks is relatively a newcomer in the vaping industry compared with other brands. But they are already making big strides with the release of their latest pod kit the Feelin AX.
Nevoks say that it is designed ‘with precision and innovation.’ So, I’m excited to put the Feelin AX to the test and see whether Nevoks can continue their underdog fable of rivalling the biggest names in today’s vape design landscape. Here’s our full, hands-on Nevoks Feeling AX Kit review:
MIST’s Verdict
Review Summary: I really enjoyed using the Nevoks Feelin AX Kit, and I’ve no doubt this will be a go-to MTL device for me over the coming months!
Review Disclosure: Nevoks supplied MIST with the Feelin AX Kit for this review. However, my thoughts and opinions on the device will be both impartial and informed by my decade-plus of experience as both a vaper and someone who works in the vaping sector.

Packaging and Labels
The Nevoks AX Kit comes in a slim foldout cardboard box, with a photo of the device on the front beneath the kit’s name. The back of the box lists the contents of the kit along with contact information for Nevoks.
The unique packaging design eschews the usual sleeve-and-box presentation and instead opens up like a book, revealing the battery unit on the right and a box full of parts snuggly fitted into the left section. The battery unit doesn’t have a pod inserted, as you’ll find it in the parts box.
In the parts box, you’ll find a USB-C charging cable, a Nevoks A1 0.6ohm refillable pod sealed in a plastic wrapper, a folded instruction manual, and a card with helpful explanations of the different compatible pods, their ohmages, and the appropriate wattage to use for each of them.
Build Quality
Score: 4.5/5
The Feelin AX has a very lightweight build; it’s only 57g! The featherweight construction is likely due to the use of aluminium alloy. Aluminium can get a little cold in the winter, so a rubberised coating wouldn’t have been amiss, but that’s a minor thing to complain about.
I’ll admit to being a bit sensitive to the sensory aspects of a vape’s build, so I was pleased by the inclusion of rounded edges on all parts of the thin slab design of the unit.
The front of the Feelin AX battery features a wide metal power button with a pleasantly grained circle brush effect. The button feels satisfying under the thumb while not being raised enough to cause issues when pocketing the device.
This button, which controls both optional firing and power adjustment, sits just beneath a detailed OLED screen that, despite its small size, clearly displays information on battery life, wattage setting, lock status, coil health, and puff count.
To be honest, I was surprised by how much information they managed to cram into the display while avoiding it becoming crowded and hard to read, so kudos to Nevoks for legibility!
The battery unit also features an airflow control slider on one side with a small nub to help you move it smoothly, while the other side features the USB-C charging port.
The cartridge well or dock contains two magnets that hold the Nevoks A1 Pods securely in place. I found it to grip them firmly yet removing them didn’t require any fiddling or hard tugs, so they hit the magnetism balance well.
Speaking of pods, the Nevoks A1 pods are built from PCTG and have pre-installed coils, making them disposable. The mouthpiece of the included 0.6ohm unit is comfortable and nicely tapered, with a rubber filling hatch on the side of the pod. However, it’s worth noting that the compatible 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm pods instead utilise a top-filling system with removable mouthpieces.
Performance
Score: 4.5/5
Performance-wise, I found the Feelin AX reliable and satisfying. As mentioned in the build quality review, the kit has a wide and easily pressed power button that can be used to fire the device. However, the optional auto-draw functionality means I can also puff through the pod to instantly start the vaping process. There is no noticeable delay between inhale and vapour production.
While I’m mostly used to using pod kits like this as mouth-to-lung devices, the Feelin AX’s 30W max output does open the doors to restricted-direct-lung inhales as well, which is great for those who prefer a cloudier puff.
Personally, I prefer to use the kit like a cigarette, but it’s great to have the option, and the adjustable airflow slider assists in this as well.
Ease of Use
Score: 5/5
The Feelin AX is super simple to use, and while I’ve been vaping for well over ten years, I’m confident that a total vaping beginner wouldn’t have any difficulty quickly mastering the device.
The secret is in the simplicity. The Feelin AX simply doesn’t have any advanced or expert features, which to some might seem like a downside, but in my mind, it makes it far more attractive as a no-fuss nicotine and flavour delivery system.
Refilling is really simple through the side hatch on the pods, though some may prefer the increased ease of the top-filling pods, as you don’t need to remove them first.
Another great user-friendly feature is the automatic wattage assignment. The kit detects the ohmage of the pod you’ve inserted and quickly adjusts the wattage to ensure it doesn’t burn or provide weak power when fired.
Long-time vapers with their own wattage preferences can override this by tapping the firing button three times to set the wattage wherever they like.
Battery Life
Score: 5/5
The battery is, in my view, one of the standout features of the Feelin AX Kit. It might be lightweight, but its internal battery capacity is 1500mAh. This is notably more than many similarly sized pod pens can claim, and if the device is being used within MTL power levels, you can reasonably expect 2-3 days of standard use.
Admittedly, using the kit at its 30W max output is likely to lower that down to maybe a day and a long half, however at this point the kit reveals a secret weapon in the form of 2A rated charge speeds.
I found that an entirely depleted battery can be restored to 80% charge in just 30 minutes, which is a frankly stunning charge speed. This feature ensures the Feelin AX won’t be out of commission for long if you’re near a charging spot. For this reason, the Feelin AX gets full marks for battery life, no hesitation.
Flavour Output
Score: 4/5
The Feelin AX provides a decent burst of flavour when puffed. This is almost entirely down to the quality of the wicking materials and heating elements used in the disposable pods.
The internal coil uses a vertical mesh made out of high-quality wire to ensure even atomization. This means the wicks are far less likely to experience burns, which in turn leads to longer-lasting flavour production.
The wicks themselves boast of using ‘upgraded Australian cotton’, which is well-regarded for its industrial purposes. This means it’s tough and long-lasting.
I found that the best flavour came from low-power hits taken with the airflow slider mostly closed. This resulted in a concentrated beam of flavour hitting my tongue without any excess air to dilute the vapour taste.
Summary
I really enjoyed using the Nevoks Feelin AX Kit, and I’ve no doubt this will be a go-to MTL device for me over the coming months! Nevoks aren’t a company I was initially familiar with, and they’ve really impressed me with this kit which in my mind gives other flagship companies like OXVA and Vaporesso a serious run for their money.
Vapers who enjoy getting lost in menus and function options may wish to look for a more advanced kit. But if no-fuss flavoursome nic hits are what you’re after, you can’t do better than this.
The MIST Favourite Feature:
- Rapid Charge Speeds: I was blown away by the fast charge! I’d been using the kit for a couple of days when my battery finally flagged, and I had to plug it in. I’d barely gotten down to grabbing another kit to use in the meantime when I noticed the battery was mostly back to full!
This is a really useful feature, as dead batteries are one of the main factors driving vapers back to the tobacco aisle. With that issue off the table, the Nevoks Feelin AX Kit is likely to keep you firmly on the healthier vaping path.
